Join us for a transformative retreat filled with meditation, movement and creativity!
Reconnect with your body and mind through the rhythm of the Baltic Sea, open skies and the Latvian nature!
August 9-14, 2026
Join us for 6 nourishing days by the Baltic Sea!
Step away from everyday rhythms and arrive at the quiet beauty of the Latvian coast for a transformative retreat where movement, creativity, embodiment, and science meet. Shaped by sea air, wide skies, and the grounded intelligence of the North, this retreat invites you to slow down, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
Led by Cathrin, Ilze, and Ina—three experienced yoga teachers and groove dance facilitators—this retreat builds on the success of our previous gatherings in Sweden and Bali. We weave evidence-informed practices with intuitive movement, joy, and community to create space for clarity, resilience, and embodied presence. The three of us share the same vision - creating the best and most nourishing retreat possible, where every retreater feels safe, seen and supported. Living near the Baltic Sea in Latvia, Sweden and Germany - the Baltic Sea is our home base.
Each day begins with grounding yoga and meditation, followed by Groove Dance—an interactive, expressive dance practice ranging from meditative flows to energizing rhythms. Creative workshops and nourishing practices support reflection, vitality, and renewal in a serene coastal setting. This retreat is open to all—no prior experience is required. Come as you are, ready for bliss, balance, fun, and creativity.
Let the Baltic Sea hold you!

Why Latvia?
Latvia is known for its deep connection to nature and ancient traditions, and during this retreat you will be able to experience that essence firsthand. Testimonials from our Sweden Retreat

"Attending Retreat Yourself in the Stockholm archipelago exceeded all my expectations. The natural setting, with its rocks, water, and greenery, created the perfect backdrop for a beautiful experience. The way the buildings were integrated into the landscape added to the peaceful and serene atmosphere. The organizers (Ina, Ilze & Cathrin) did a fantastic job of making everything seamless and stress-free. From organizing an exciting schedule, to responding promptly to any questions, their attention to detail was impeccable. I loved the blend of art, meditation, dance, yoga, science, and meaningful conversations that made this retreat truly unique. Connecting with a small, targeted group in such an idyllic setting was beyond what I could have imagined. I can't wait to attend another retreat organized by this incredible team and experience the sense of community they are creating. Highly recommended!" Jenn (Canada)
"A shout-out to the ReTreat in Sweden! It was facilitated by the three glowing ladies, Groove facilitators Cathrin Gressieker, Ina Schuppe Koistinen, and Ilze Altroka. I can reflect on the experience at the magical spot on one of the islands in Stockholm. I met the three of them at the Groove Retreat in Mexico and was impressed by how creative they were! I signed up for the retreat they announced without hesitation! And the retreat exceeded my expectations! They skillfully scheduled phenomenal events reflecting their personal and professional expertise and diverse talents. Cathrin ran a creativity workshop that connected all the participants in a very relaxing and enjoyable activity through creating collages. Ina shared her expertise in her science research to raise awareness among all the participants on the importance of keeping our microbiomes healthy. Ilze shared her experience in mastering meditation techniques. All three led different but delightful morning movement events. All morning and evening dances were diverse and pleasurable! Thank you for your efforts and the magical time we all had at the retreat!" Ludmila (USA)
"It was a pleasure meeting up with you in Stockholm and sailing to our oasis in the Archipelago to the beautiful farm we called home for 4 days (which felt like years sometimes for the amount of stuff we did and saw and ate and felt and experienced). I am truly grateful to Ina for her vision and her intuition and for drawing in Cathrin and Ilze to create a safe space and a sacred container for us to play and pray. The location was superb, the Baltic sea delicious, the rooms cozy and the facilities were spot on amazing - and how fabulous it was to see Ina present her research and lifework in a space that was suitable and professional for the knowledge she imparted. Thank you for the yummy morning yoga and meditation/movement. I also truly loved our art workshop.
It was amazing to dance - to lose ourselves in the music and set our bodies free. The freedom and flow of dancing was apparent in our faces and in our movements and it made my soul happy. I especially liked our outdoor grooves and grounding and taking in the fresh air coming off the sea. It was a pleasure seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Loved listening to all the different languages and catching bits and pieces of conversations. I also loved the ease and camaraderie between our facilitators and the collective energy we harnessed from each other and of course together. Looking forward to many other opportunities to retreat together." Goddess (USA)
